Summary, etc. يتناول هذا الكتاب دراسة وثائقية لمحاولة إيضاح معالم السياسية البريطانية فى عسير أثناء الحرب العالمية الأولى من خلال توثيق عدد من الوثائق البريطانية وذلك فى إطار التحليل التاريخى لأبعاد السياسة البريطانية فى عسير أثناء الحرب العالمية الأولى وقوفا فى ذلك على توضيح مدى تاثير قيام الحرب العالمية الأولى على منطقة البحر الأحمر والسياسة التى أتبعتها بريطانيا فى تلك المنطقة أثناء فترة الحرب مستعرضا بايجاز تطور مركز العثمانيين والبريطانيين فى منطقة البحر الأحمر منذ توسعهم التاريخى نظرا لما كان لكلا الجانبين فى تلك المنطقة من قوات ونفوذ ومصالح مختلفة كما أشار الى ان سياسة بريطانيا فى عسير أثناء الحرب العالمية الأولى ارتكز على دعم محمد الإدريسى ومساندته لشن حرب ضارية ضد الأتراك العثمانيين بعد التحالف مع المانيا.
